What an exciting and much anticipated breeding for Holly's Spring Drents. Holly's Spring Drents is teaming up with California Drents to produce gorgeous puppies with great potential to be excellent companions for the home, family and field. This will be our girl Daisy Jane's first litter, and as of this writing she is in heat, and we are hoping to breed sometime the last week in April 2022. Daisy is a loving, affectionate, and sassy companion that enjoys playing with Tjiebella (mom) and Jackson (brother), and cuddling on the couch with family. She loves getting out for hikes, going camping, and exploring the mountains of Colorado with her owners. A quick learner she has completed Puppy, Adult, and Canine Good Citizen Training.
Yosemite Sam is a Belgian-bred, California born Drent, a handsome boy with excellent bloodlines. He is the only male in North America with an excellent evaluation by a qualified Dutch judge. Competing in Belgium at the age of two, he finished second among all males in the field and has only improved with age. Sam is an accomplished hunter, earning Prize II in Natural Ability from the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association. Both Daisy and Sam have been DNA tested and are clear of any major genetic defects that can occur in the breed. The pairing of these two should produce beautiful, intelligent, and affectionate companions for the home and field.
